Our Mission
The True Professional (“TTP”), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, improves the quality of services to adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (“IDD”) by providing professional development and consulting services to the staff and leadership at residential providers serving this community.
Individuals with IDD deserve to be treated with dignity and respect, and lead lives that are rich in experience with as much independence as possible. As these individuals reach adulthood, their families often rely on residential providers for critical services that shape each individual’s daily life. Unfortunately, these providers face systemic and operational challenges. The result is that many adults with IDD do not receive the level of services they need to thrive.
Through its multi-pronged, data-driven approach, TTP equips providers with the tools they need to:
